Media Player Classic HomeCinema (x86/x64) - удобный во всех планах мультимедийный проигрыватель. Он построен на базе классического плеера Media Player Classic, и имеет свой интегрированный набор медиа-кодеков, и благодаря этому может проигрывать многие форматы видео/аудио файлов без установки сторонних средств. Этот плеер имеет большое количество различных функциональных возможностей: он умеет воспроизводить DVD диски, умеет аппаратно декодировать популярный формат H.264 на видеокартах последнего поколения, умеет корректно работать со вторым монитором (телевизором), поддерживает различные виды субтитров, умеет работать с  форматами QuickTime и RealVideo и т.д. Плеер имеет небольшой размер и полностью понятный и не перегруженный излишними функциями интерфейс, переведенный на 14 языков.  Имеет полную совместимость с  Windows XP и Windows Vista, причем не только 32- битной версией, но и 64-битной.

This project is based on the original "Media Player Classic" and was created after Gabest, the original author, stopped working on it. Several new features have been integrated in this player, such as:

• Option to remove Tearing.
• Better support for Windows Vista and 7, including a release for 64 bits platform.

• Support for EVR (Enhanced Video Renderer)

• Supports Subtitles.
• Playback and recording of television if a supported TV tuner is installed.

Изменения / Changes (3339-3357):

• update libpng to v1.5.4;

• move Ap4Config.h in the AP4\Core directory;

• Correct rev.3338;

• Fix : MPEGSplitter, MPG/VOB - export a subtitle pin only then subtitles present in file;

• Change : If the language code does not correspond to ISO 639 - code instead of the name is taken;

• move SoundTouch to the thirdparty directory. compile SoundTouch as a separate library;

• clean up lcms2.vcxproj and VideoRenderers.vcxproj;

• Updated Czech translation by khagaroth;

• Replace jump forward and backward buttons in Windows 7 taskbar by next and previous buttons as they are probably used more often. This commit fixes ticket #559;

• The correct cursor in the DVD menu (thanks judelaw and aleksoid). The normal cursor in video frame;

• VSFilter: remove non-existent AdditionalIncludeDirectories;

• MpcAudioRendererFilter: remove leftovers from r3345;

• add VersionInfo for the standalone filters WavDest, AudioSwitcher, BufferFilter, DeCSSFilter;

• filters: don't use a hardcoded path to Version.h, add the path to version.h to the projects;

• update for commit r3350;

• Fix : Disable Windows 7 thumbnail button for DVD Titles (as they did not work);

• Show the saved position for files favorited with "remember position" enabled in the "Organize Favorites" dialog. This commit fixes ticket #1487.
